Limited budgets, ageing buildings and rising regulatory pressure make fire-door and compartmentation upgrades hard to fund. Our free Funding Packs give you the funding routes, evidence structure, scoring and justification that funding panels, Responsible Bodies and trustees expect to see.
The pack does the research and the technical writing. You present a complete, evidence-based case.
Choose schools, care, housing or charities & commercial. We email you an eleven-page PDF: funding routes, checklists, scoring tools and a pre-written justification statement.
Work through the checklists and score your doors. Or book a UKFDT-certified CMH inspection and we complete the evidence sections for you: photographs per door, defect register, priority scoring and a costed proposal.
Adapt the justification statement, follow the submission checklist, and present a clear, professional, audit-ready case to the funder or the board.
Designed to save weeks of research and technical writing, and to make your application look as professional as the works it supports.
Which grants, budgets and safety funds your type of organisation can realistically apply to, what they prioritise, and how they score.
A tailored statement covering risk, compliance gaps and legal duties, written in the language funders and trustees expect.
Shows how your application meets funder criteria: risk severity, occupant vulnerability, evidence strength and compliance impact.
Risk assessment wording, safety impact statements, cost breakdowns and gap analysis forms, ready to complete.
Exactly what to gather, a photographic log and a Responsible Person form. Book a CMH inspection and we complete it door by door.
Exactly what to send, in what order, so nothing is missing when it reaches the funding body or the board.
Every pack is tailored to your sector's funding routes, regulators and decision-makers.
Condition funding, trust capital and compliance evidence for governors and estates teams.
Schools funding
Evidence for CQC-driven upgrades, estates capital and backlog maintenance cases.
Care funding
Flat-entrance door programmes, Fire Safety Regulations duties and business-plan justification.
Housing funding
Community grants, heritage funds and insurer-ready business cases for premises of every size.
Commercial & charity funding
Generic guidance online doesn't know your building, your sector or your defects. Funding bodies and boards prefer structured, evidence-based submissions, and most managers don't have the time or technical writing to produce one.
Written by the people who audit fire doors every day and know what assessors actually query.
No research, no guesswork, no staring at a blank justification box.
Gives senior leaders, trustees and governors a clear, defensible reason to approve urgent works.
Aligned with funder criteria, so your application is complete, accurate and easier to score well.

Yes. Tell us your sector and email address and we send you the PDF. There's no payment, no trial and no obligation. We'll follow up once to ask whether you'd like help with the evidence sections, and you can say no.
No. Nobody can guarantee a funding decision, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The pack increases your chances by helping you submit a complete, evidence-based, compliant application. Decisions remain with the funding body.
No. You remain the applicant and the Responsible Person. The pack gives you the routes, templates and justification so your submission is as strong as possible. We're happy to talk it through before you send it.
The evidence. A UKFDT-certified inspection gives you door-by-door photographs, a defect register, compliance findings and a costed, phased proposal, which is what funders and boards weigh most. We complete those sections of the pack for you as part of an inspection. Inspections start from £20 per door.
Each sector pack explains the routes most relevant to that type of organisation, what they prioritise and when to apply, for example condition funding for schools, estates capital and commissioner routes for care, HRA and business-plan programmes for housing, and community and heritage grants for charities. Scheme details change between rounds, so the pack tells you what to check and where.
The pack tells you honestly. Sometimes the answer is that works must be funded internally, in which case the justification statement, scoring and cost templates still give your board, trustees or finance team the business case they need to approve them.

Transparency note. CMH Fire Doors Funding Packs are a free compliance support resource. They help you prepare a stronger, evidence-based application. We do not apply for funding on your behalf, and no funding or approval is guaranteed. Eligibility, criteria and award sizes are set by each funding body and change between rounds; always confirm current guidance with the funder before submitting.
